Accomplished:

• Met with Re Ops team to discuss research goals, methods, best practices, and potential participant compensation

• Finished Interview questions/script

• Finished survey question draft

• Going through Red Hat’s preliminary research materials they sent us

• Evaluating user forums to determine Red Hat’s presence

• Received feedback on interview script and survey during sponsor standup meeting

• Presented our project approach during class

Successes:

• Finishing up interview script

• Finishing up survey questions

• Meeting with Re Ops team

Fails:

• Our survey was too long; shortened this after feedback from our sponsor

• Could not submit our research proposal on Friday (since we have not started any interviews)

Difficulties:

• Finalizing survey and interview script

• Moving past the research phase without interviewing participants

Goals of Next Week:

• Conduct task Analysis for Red Hat’s existing documentation/learning materials

• Send out survey on platforms

• Interview recruiting

• Submit research proposal
