Accomplished:

• Competitive analysis of other enterprise technical documentation

• Began fleshing out potential questions for user interviews

• Second meeting to discuss competitive analysis results and next steps for user interviews

• Designed our website for weekly updates

• Began work on our official project proposal

• Touched base with Re Ops lead to discuss how Red Hat can help support research

Successes:

• Sponsor gave us positive and helpful feedback regarding the competitive analysis and interview questions

• Sponsor directed us towards the Re Ops team for help with research

• Launched project website

Fails:

• Had some technical difficulties when joining our meeting with sponsors

Difficulties:

• Short turnaround times to complete deliverables between team meetings and sponsor meetings

• Narrowing project scope

Goals of Next Week:

• Complete official project proposal and proposal presentation

• Flesh out an in-depth interview script

• Create survey to distribute on platforms where we can access developers

• Continue researching more about Red Hat users

• Meet with Red Hat’s Re Ops team
